This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our engagement intelligence service for email. 1. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum amount of data necessary to provide our engagement intelligence service:

  • Your email address, used to create and sign you in to your account via Google sign-in (OAuth). We request only a basic OpenID identity token. We do not read your contacts or your Google profile.
  • Engagement signals on the emails you choose to track, such as tracked-link clicks, content views and how long content was viewed, and replies.
  • Pixel-open status and the time of a pixel open, where a pixel open is classified as a genuine human view or a robot/scanner, and is treated as a soft "likely seen" hint rather than a verified read.

We do not read, store, or access the content of your emails. We do not track information about your device or location, and we do not attempt to detect or report whether the people you email use any other tracking tool.

2. Account-Scoped Data and What the Extension Shows

Your data is scoped to your own account. The FastMailTracker Chrome extension only ever surfaces the trackers and engagement that belong to the account you are signed in with; it never shows you another account's trackers or anyone else's emails. Sign-in tokens are held only inside the extension's service worker on your own device and are not exposed to the web pages you visit.

3. Machine Prefetches Are Filtered, Never Shown as Reads

Apple Mail Privacy Protection, corporate security scanners, and similar automated systems pre-fetch tracking pixels before any human has looked at an email. We classify and filter out these machine prefetches: they are never presented to you as a human read or counted as verified engagement. A pixel open that survives this filtering is shown only as a soft "likely seen" hint, never as a guaranteed read.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information solely to provide our engagement intelligence service. This includes:

  • Notifying you about verified engagement on your emails, such as tracked-link clicks, content views, and replies.
  • Classifying pixel opens as genuine human views or robot/scanner activity, and filtering out opens generated by Apple Mail Privacy Protection robots and security scanners, so a "likely seen" hint reflects real human attention.
  • Showing you engagement counts and a timeline of engagement and opens for your own tracked emails.

5. Data Protection

We keep each user's data segregated and secure. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data only for as long as necessary to provide our service. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

8. Data Sharing

We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties, and we do not use it for any purpose unrelated to email engagement intelligence or to determine creditworthiness. We share the minimum information necessary with our payment provider only to process a paid subscription you choose to start. Payments are processed by DodoPayments, which acts as the merchant of record and bills you in your local currency inclusive of applicable taxes.

10. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India, and any dispute relating to it is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru (Bangalore), Karnataka, India.
